RFID labels

RFID or Radio Frequency Identification is a technology used to identify objects or people. It is based on the use of radio electric waves that read the data contained within an RFID transponder, commonly known as a label or tag


Many libraries have been benefiting from RFID technology for a few years now: anti-theft feature, simplified transaction management, real-time inventory, improved staff morale and quality of service provided to the public.

Applied to books, documents and other media available in the library,  RFID microchips are unique and allow the identification of any book or item of media without error.
